| Comments: *w/o audience This show is incorrectly traded as 9/14/74 This show was also filmed for a multimedia presentation in Europe. The bootlegs known as "Electrif Lycanthrope" and "Encore Performance" are from this show.. Official release on Record Store Day (RSD) 2021 as remastered 2LP-set & CD by Rhino Records Denis McNamara, former Program Director of WLIR-FM in NY remembered: "One of the best radio concerts we ever did at WLIR (and we did close to a thousand)! Lowell always feared this would be a best selling bootleg. I was still running WNYU when the show happened. Later however, when I programmed LIR, I became friendly with the band particularly Billy and Paul. I met Lowell for the first time backstage in Maryland before a show and then again later at a huge party at the Watergate hotel that the label threw for the band. I can tell you that Lowell expressed to me how worried he was that bootlegs of the WLIR show might hurt their real album sales! On a subsequent tour, the band played a show around the corner from the station at the Calderone concert hall in Hempstead, Long Island. Lowell didn`t want to let us record that concert but we did present the show and I introduced the band. Unbeknownst to me, he snuck up behind me and stuck two fingers behind my head as I was doing the intro. I wish I had a photo. We had good conversations both before and after that show. Sad but we never spoke again. Paul and Billy maintained a great relationship with the station well into the 80`s. We of course were honored when they asked to include some of our Feat material for the Hoy Hoy release. I hope this gave you some insight. Congratulations on the site. They are a great band and your site perpetuates that as well as spreads the word on them. Well done. Best, Denis " An interesting insight into the meaning of the title "Electrif Lycanthrope": https://100greatestbootlegs.blogspot.com/2012/08/flac-little-feat-electrif- lycanthrope.html? fbclid=IwAR3qhPMNqt733OQ0Y3kUNP7zzMdmYH8DbpxEI8TmNIBoNSUxPh7DpX OHYTk | ||
